Past work

A portfolio of sorts? I wouldn’t say I’ve lived that many lives, but as time goes on, I’ve accumulated some experience. Here are a few things of note.
- “Type News”
- A long-running series for Typedia, written almost entirely by Grant Hutchinson and me.
- Assumption Engine
- A post–Web-2.0 engine for making assumptions.
- Erik and Erica dot org
- The family website! Erica’s section is due for a refresh.
- Teaching
- I taught composition and courses on Shakespeare and nature in literature at Loyola University Chicago.
- Research
- Right now this is just old work on the Towneley Lazarus play, but I might add a few other things if I find the time to make them work in an online format or get permission to publish them.
- The Quarry
- The literary & fine arts magazine of St. Olaf College. I was co–editor-in-chief (1998–99) and responsible for giving the magazine a consistent name. I also wrote a number of poems that were published in it while I was a student.
